December 2022 Update

As Citizen Impact begins its 14th year of ministry, I hope you agree that it has been effective in two important areas: 1) A reliable source for pertinent and valuable information. 2) An advocacy organization that knows how to communicate our values to those who influence public policy. Thank you to everyone who supported us!

In February, our Pastors & Ministry Leaders’ Day was probably the largest attended yet. Governor Kemp spoke, as well as many state legislators.

The Annual Conference in August was one of the best! We had a great lineup of speakers, including Allie Beth Stuckey and Gov. Brian Kemp.

We made two trips to Washington, DC, where we lobbied against the falsely named Respect for Marriage Act. On the state level, we spoke against the expansion of state-sponsored gambling and coordinated with other pro-life groups here in Georgia to help get pro-life legislation passed. We also celebrated with those groups when the Dobbs decision came from the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade!

Pray for us as the Georgia General Assembly goes into session in January. We will be focusing on the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA), continue our efforts to stop any expansion of gambling, and work on other moral issues.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to Citizen Impact to help us finish the year financially strong. You can click here to send your gift.
