DEFENDING OUR FAITH: ENGAGING GEORGIA FOR AMERICA’S FUTURE
Faith Wins Bus Tour was Huge Success!
Bus Tour Team with Pastor John Anderson at Pinecrest Baptist in McDonough
Faith Wins, the Georgia Baptist Mission Board, and Citizen Impact collaborated on a statewide bus tour, scheduling meetings in 12 cities all over Georgia for the week of December 14-18. The purpose of this event was to bring together pastors, faith leaders, and all people of faith to highlight the importance of the run-off election on January 5. Control of the United States Senate hangs in the balance and Georgians (and only Georgians) will have the last word on the matter.

Chad Connelly, Byron Foxx, Mike Griffin, and Paul Smith spoke at all these events. Citizen Impact’s Associate Director, Cory Lawrence, also traveled with the team. In addition, former Congressman Bob McEwen and David Barton with Wallbuilders spoke at several of these meetings. It was tremendous to have them in Georgia!

Mike Griffin, the Georgia Baptist Mission Board Public Affairs Representative, said of this effort: “It is important that Christians understand their responsibility as citizens and that in doing so, that their voices be heard from a Biblical perspective.”

Our good friends at Faith & Freedom Coalition provided Voter Guides for these events. Over 5,000 voter guides were given out throughout the 12-city tour, and more were sent out after the team returned from the trip.

It is vitally important that all Christians exercise their privilege of voting, and that we vote our Biblical values!
