The Georgia Senate passed Senate Bill 386 on February 1. Although this bill attempted to legalize sports betting without a constitutional amendment, it was amended before the final vote and now *requires* a constitutional amendment before it can be enacted. The Georgia General Assembly ended their 2023 session without expanding any form of gambling in Georgia. This is wonderful news and a huge praise!
