• Senate Bill 212— Harry Geisinger Rural Georgia Jobs and Growth Act — Will establish Georgia Horse Racing Commission to allow betting on horse racing. Status: Senate Regulated Industries Committee on 2/17.

• Senate Bill 456 — Women’s Health and Safety Act — Restricts abortion-inducing drugs from being sent by courier, delivery, or mail service.

Governor Kemp signed a new Executive Order that ends a ban on large gatherings, eliminates shelter-in-place requirements for vulnerable populations, and pares down a lengthy list of safety guidelines. These new guidelines are effective April 8 through April 30, 2021. … Read the rest
