2018 Annual Conference – August 23, 2018

Click here to register for the Citizen Impact Annual Seminar on August 23. This one-day event is geared for people of faith so that “average” citizens can learn about the importance of defending our religious liberties. Workshops and breakout sessions focus on practical steps to push back against the continual erosion of these liberties and traditional values. As Christians, we must be prepared to defend our faith, and our young people must have a strong Biblical worldview.

We are rotating the conference this year to middle Georgia to accommodate pastors and other church members who have never attended a Citizen Impact conference. Mikado Baptist Church has very graciously offered their facilities for this event, located at 6751 Houston Rd, Macon, GA 31216.

We are very excited to have Alex Kendrick as our Keynote Speaker at the 7:00 p.m. evening session. He is well-known for making the Christian films, “Facing the Giants,” “Courageous,” and “War Room.” The afternoon session will include Travis Barham, an attorney with Alliance Defending Freedom, our good friend Chad Connelly with a report from Washington, DC, and the very popular state legislators’ panel. We will offer the VIP Dinner again this year, with special speaker Georgia Senator William Ligon, a champion of religious freedom in our state.

We are trying something new this year. We have reduced the registration fee to attend the entire event (and banquet). In fact, there will be no registration fee to attend ONLY the evening session with Alex Kendrick. Instead, we will “pass the plate” to take an offering for Citizen Impact and the expenses of the conference. Please register, and also come prepared to give to the offering.
